Primary Function:
The Cyber Security Project Manager plays a critical role in supporting the successful project delivery for all of the Wingman Service offerings. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
There can flexibility for the right candidate around working location, this can be based from our Leeds office or the opportunity to work remotely with regular trips to Leeds when required is also an option.
Main Tasks:
- Lead the successful delivery of projects including strategic planning, operational execution and comprehensive reporting
- Support project progression through resource allocation including coordination with third party suppliers
- Provide data-driven insights to capacity planning for upcoming projects
- Ensure that projects are kept within the budget allocated and engagements remain within time allocated
- Monitoring the overall progress of projects and reporting these to internal and external stakeholders regularly including accurate recording of minutes.
- Understand and apply change control measures ensuring engineers are following these processes whilst the project is ongoing
- Ensure timely identification & mitigation of blockers (e.g. site travel restrictions, technical limitations)
- Identify gaps in capability through projects and coordinate training to be delivered internally where appropriate.
- Oversee and ensure adherence to the development of SOPs and documentation to ensure efficiency and standardisation.
- Support with service operations meetings and quarterly business reviews
Personal Qualities:
- Ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights for resource and budget planning
- Attention to detail and accuracy when preparing reports and documentation
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust accordingly depending on a technical/non-technical audience
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, and cross-functional teams
- Interest to stay up to date with the latest security threats and trends
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience delivering complex projects, ideally within the cyber security industry
- Some experience or knowledge of cloud computing (GCP/AWS/Entra)
- Understanding of change control, frameworks and governance
- Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks, and experience applying them pragmatically in delivery
- PMP, PRINCE2, P30 or equivalent certification preferred
