For those Check Point customers still running the older 2016 appliance range, some good news has just been publicly released stating that the End Of Engineering support date has been extended to the 30th June 2024, from the previously stated 31st December 2023.

This covers the following range of appliances:

3100, 3200, 5100, 5200, 5400, 5600, 5800, 5600, 6500, 6800, 15400, 15600, 23500, 23800, 23900

The full product life cycle for hardware and software is available here.

After this time, no further active development for these appliances will take place, as the they slowly edge towards their End Of Life date of December 2025 for the majority of these appliance models.
