Security Accreditations

SEP2 achieved certification to the International Standards Organisation (ISO) 27001 framework for Information Security Standard in 2017.

Being certified to the ISO27001 standard proves that SEP2 take information security seriously and can be trusted to handle their own and their customer data securely.

SEP2 achieved Cyber Essentials Plus in 2023.

Cyber Essentials Plus is a UK government-backed certification that confirms an organisation’s cyber security defences have been independently tested and found effective against common cyber threats, building on the basic Cyber Essentials by adding hands-on technical verification.

SEP2 achieved accreditation from CREST for their Security Operations Centre (SOC) in 2025.

CREST is an international not-for-profit, membership body representing the global cyber security industry. All CREST members undergo a rigorous accreditation process which delivers measurable quality assurance, benefiting both member companies and their customers.

It confirms that SEP2 has been independently vetted and meets the stringent requirements set by financial institutions for managing third and fourth-party risk.
