Tech Tip: CVE-2024-24919 on Check Point Remote Access VPN – Patch Today

A critical CVE-2024-24919 has been released today effecting all customers using either the IPSEC or Mobile Access VPN technologies for remote access users of local database type.

SEP2 have already reached out to all of our customers earlier today to advise on this.

Check Point have released what is termed to be a mandatory HotFix that will patch this issue as well as an FAQ for customers who have questions.

It is highly advisable to act now and prioritise this patching effort today. Please note this does require a reboot to install so plan ahead accordingly.
