Google Completes Acquisition of Wiz: A New Era for Cloud and AI Security

On 11 March 2026, Google officially announced the completion of its acquisition of Wiz. As an approved Google Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) and the highest technically accredited Wiz partner in the UK, SEP2 are incredibly excited about the possibilities this union brings for our customers.

This acquisition represents a significant investment by Google Cloud to enhance cloud security and enable organisations to build safely across any cloud or AI platform. By bringing together Google Threat Intelligence and Google Security Operations with the Wiz Cloud and AI Security Platform, the industry will benefit from a powerful unified security solution.

This acquisition perfectly aligns with the strategic direction SEP2 has been driving towards.
