SEP2’s Charity Committee is delighted to announce Maxi’s Mates as our official Charity of the Year for 2026. Their inspiring commitment to rescuing and rehoming stray and abandoned dogs is something the entire SEP2 team is eager to champion. We look forward to a year of fundraising and collaboration, positively contributing to Maxi’s Mates’ vital work in the North East.
Based in North Yorkshire, Maxi’s Mates operates with a “no dog left behind” policy. Since 2012, they have provided stray and abandoned dogs across Teesside and the North East with a safe haven to heal and find a fresh start. We are dedicated to raising as much as possible this year to support their essential needs, from vet bills and bedding to food and toys.
We are a dedicated charity that wants to help stray dogs. We firmly believe ALL strays deserve another chance at finding that right home for them. We care deeply about dogs regardless of breed, age or whether they are sociable with other dogs or not.
