On 15th May 2025, we welcomed cyber security professionals from across all sectors to the iconic Science Museum in London for our second SEP2 Cyber Summit. We were honoured to have industry experts from Check Point, Google, and CrowdStrike in attendance, sharing their valuable insights on the latest threats and trends in the industry. Download our free Key Takeaways PDF for the main insights from their talks.
With keynote speeches held in the IMAX Theatre, a competitive scavenger hunt around the Flight Gallery, and an evening of retro gaming and drinks, it was a day to remember.
Here’s what our attendees had to say:
The day was very informative and the talks were incredibly interesting.
SEP2 Cyber Summit was a really strong security summit. I particularly liked the honesty and lack of sales-focused talks.
Good, relevant cross section of topics and styles during the presentations and panel. We enjoyed the venue, the scale (not too big and therefore not cramped), the opportunity to talk to vendors/sponsors and the scavenger hunt.
The venue was excellent, speakers varied and the panel segment was eye opening to other customers’ concerns.
The highlight of my day was hearing about the main threats IT face in securing businesses against cyber criminals.
The panel was very interesting. I also enjoyed all of the presenters!
The vendor discussions were so interesting and the panel discussion gave great real world insight.
The day was very informative and the talks were incredibly interesting.

We were delighted to be joined by Deryck Mitchelson from Check Point, John Spencer from CrowdStrike and Darren Swift from Google, who each shared invaluable insights into the evolving cyber security landscape – from the future of AI-driven threat prevention and key findings from the 2025 Global Threat Report, to a reimagined approach to security operations powered by Google SecOps.
Paul Starr, CEO at SEP2, led a panel discussion with Almac Group, Funding Circle UK, Ulster University and Sunbelt Rentals to find out what keeps them up at night, their current challenges, and how we can sensibly and safely enable AI to empower staff without compromising sensitive data.
We are grateful to all the sponsors that helped make Cyber Summit possible, especially our headline sponsor Check Point, and Diamond sponsors Google and CrowdStrike. We’d also like to thank our Gold sponsors Assured Data Protection, Cymulate, Drata, Illumio, KnowBe4, Pentest People and Thales, our Brand sponsor Westcon, drinks sponsor Qualys and Bronze sponsor Uptycs.
Throughout the day, attendees had the opportunity to connect with our sponsors, discover their latest solutions through live demos, and pick up exclusive merch at their stands.

As the day’s activities came to a close, attendees made their way to the Science Museum’s Power Up room with an open bar, generously sponsored by Qualys.
